Painted by hand in London and inspired by my travels to the Scottish Highlands, this silk scarf is hand-crafted in Como, Italy.
It is printed on a luxury 100% silk twill, with a hand rolled hem.
You will receive your scarf in its elegant hand-folded origami gift envelope sealed with a wax stamp.

This accessory requires a high quality dry cleaning or, even better, a gentle hand wash with a delicate soap in cold or lukewarm water.

Iron your scarf with the "silk" settings while it is still slightly damp.
The scarves are hand-crafted by a small family business in Como which has been running since the beginning of 1900

I print in very small batches

Printing in small batches also means that I never throw anything away

I've chosen digital printing because it uses less water than screen printing in order to lessen the impact on the environment as much as possible. By printing the scarves digitally at least 60% of water consumption is saved and there is a significant reduction in ink. Also less energy is used.

Scarves are printed using less harmful chemicals that are AZO-Free.

Packaging is plastic free and the paper is by Fedrigoni,
an environmentally-friendly ECF paper FSC® certified.

The paper hand folded origami box can be reused in a creative way or simply to store your scarf in.

Silk is a renewable resource, can biodegrade, and uses less water, chemicals, and energy than many other fibers.
Tracked 48 postage to mainland UK is included in the cost of this item.
